Meet Me

Behind every system and strategy, there’s a human story. These are a few of mine, equal parts curious, playful, and true.

A Few Fun Facts (and Misadventures)

These are the stories and small moments that shaped me, in and out of work.

Coffee

I’ve worked and traveled through places like Singapore, Ireland, Argentina, Germany, and the Caribbean during my time in the domain name industry, which means I can find good espresso in almost any time zone.

Data

I nerd out on health and wellness research. I actually read medical studies for fun.

Mold

After toxic mold poisoning (Stachybotrys - yes, the bad one), I rebuilt with a sober understanding that even highly tuned systems have failure points. That reality permanently reshaped how I think about pace, boundaries, and sustainable performance.

Trust

Strangers tell me their life stories (in checkout lines, on flights, at coffee shops) and I genuinely love listening.

Stunts

Once upon a time, I did stunt work for CSI: NY, several underwater scenes in a man-made lake on their special effects lot. There were car crashes, helicopters, and fake blood. Ten out of ten, would dive again.

Barstow

I once broke down in Barstow trying to leave L.A. after a year… and decided to turn around and stay another fifteen. Sometimes the universe redirects.

Balance

I bartended in Hollywood on Sundays to pay for my yoga teacher training. The perfect combo of mindfulness and martinis.

Repertoire

With a BFA in Choreography, I co-choreographed a dance piece called Waterworn that was commissioned by Headwaters Dance Company in Missoula. It somehow stayed in their repertoire for over a decade.

Gil

At a house party in Los Angeles, I spent over an hour talking choreography and commercial dance with Gil Duldulao (Janet Jackson’s creative director). A top-five life moment and an unforgettable creative exchange.

Heights

I’m terrified of heights but have "somehow" still sky-dived, parasailed, and floated in a hot-air balloon.

Suspense

I love suspense and horror films, but I close my eyes and hum through the scary scenes. So really, I just enjoy the soundtracks.

Improv

When cooking, I improvise like I choreograph and make a mean vanilla-cinnamon steak. Once the structure is clear and the inputs are known, I adapt in real time. (It works. I promise.)

Spills

I have a tendency to spill on myself. It usually happens when I’m tracking what’s happening now while thinking several steps ahead, a small price for seeing the whole system at once.

Dogs

I foster dogs like it’s an Olympic sport; my adoption rate is suspiciously high, and yes, I cry (with joy) every time they don’t leave.

Umami

During my L.A. years, I worked at a little burger joint in Santa Monica that somehow attracted every celebrity under the sun. The ones who stood out? Alanis Morissette, Lisa Ling, and Hilary Swank. All genuine, gracious, and refreshingly real.

People

And above all, I love people and their stories, their humor, and the strange, wonderful ways we all try to make life work.

If you’ve read this far, we’re probably a good match for something creative, structured, or both. Let's work together. Or at least grab coffee and trade stories.
